Mach mal Kaffeepause dann hört der Regen auf!
Wir starten heute ohne Kaffee in den Regen. Doch wir wissen, in 1,3km kommt eine Bar wo es Kaffee gibt. Der Kaffee stärkt nicht nur unserer Moral, auch die Wolken hören auf Ihre Last auf uns abzuladen.
Bald darf ist Castromajor erreicht, ein teilweise ausgegrabenes Dorf aus der Eisenzeit, das vermutlich bis ins 1 Jahrhundert bewohnt war. Es sind verschlungene Erdwälle und Maurern zu sehen.
Heute haben wir einen ziemlich leeren Weg, die große Welle an Pilgern haben wir durch den Start 8km vor dem Hauptort Pontomarin geschickt umgangen. Erst kurz vor Mittagszeit holen uns die ersten Ausläufer der Pilgerwellen ein. In Palas de Rei ist Shopping angesagt. In einem Sportgeschäft kann ich mir neue Wanderschuhe ergattern und in einem anderen Geschäft einen neuen Hut. Wir freuen uns hier plötzlich auf Anna zu treffen. Gemeinsam laufen wir nach Ponte Campaña und kommen in der Albergue Casa Domingo unter. Zu unser Freude treffen wir hier auch Jenny und Sabrina wieder und die Niederländer Trees und Fred.

Take a coffee break and the rain will stop!
We set off into the rain without coffee today. But we know that there is a bar 1.3 km away where we can get coffee. The coffee not only boosts our morale, but the clouds also stop dumping their burden on us.
We soon reach Castromajor, a partially excavated village from the Iron Age that was probably inhabited until the 1st century. You can see winding earthen ramparts and brick walls.
Today we have a fairly empty path, we cleverly avoided the large wave of pilgrims by starting 8 km before the main town of Pontomarin. It is only shortly before lunchtime that the first offshoots of the pilgrim waves catch up with us. In Palas de Rei it is time to go shopping. I can get some new hiking boots in a sports shop and a new hat in another shop. We are suddenly happy to meet Anna here. We walk together to A Ponte Campaña and stay at the Albergue Casa Domingo. To our delight, we also meet Jenny and Sabrina again and the Dutch Trees and Fred.
