Es ist windig und kalt, die Wolken hängen sehr tief heute morgen und es erscheint mir das mit jedem Schritt auf dem Anstieg den ich gehe, dass der Himmel mir immer näher kommt. Emotional bin ich den Tränen nahe, es berührt mich zutiefst das genau auf diesen Kilometern das Team ME Speyer, also meine Arbeitskollegen die Kilometerpaten sind. An dem Cruz de Ferro lege ich für Nicole, die liebe Kollegin, die leider viel zu jung überraschend gestorben ist ein Stein nieder. Am Cruz de Ferro gibt es ein traditionelles Gebet, ich wandle es ab: „Herr, möge dieser Stein den ich zu Füßen des Kreuzes des Erlösers niederlege, dereinst die Waagschale zugunsten Ihrer guten Taten senken. Amen.“
Hier an den Kreuz wechselt auch die KM Patenschaft. „Jesus spricht: Ich bin der Weg und die Wahrheit und das Leben; niemand kommt zum Vater denn durch mich.“ Ich bin sehr dankbar für dieses passende Bibelzitat aus der persönliche Nachricht der Etappenpaten Andrea und Wilhelm. Ich staune und wundere mich, dieser Weg und auch hier dieses Kreuz, es hat etwas mystisches und was ich hier auf dem Camino erlebe, das ist nicht Zufall, da ist unendlich viel mehr. Ich habe auch das Glück, das Christian, ein Profifotograf, den Moment am Cruz de Ferro im Foto ganz sanft einfängt.
Der Abstieg vom Hochplateau ist von wunderschöner Natürlichkeit, trotz der teils schwierigen Passagen und dem Regen ist dies einer schönsten Abschnitte. In der Pausenstation hat eine Katze sich den besten Platz am Ofen erobert.

I am amazed and astonished, this path and also this cross here, there is something mystical and what I experience here on the Camino is not a coincidence, there is infinitely more. I am also lucky that Christian, a professional photographer, captures the moment at the Cruz de Ferro very gently in the photo.
The descent from the high plateau is beautifully natural, despite the sometimes difficult passages and the rain, this is one of the most beautiful sections. At the rest stop, a cat has taken the best place by the stove.
